Reiger Suspension 3-way adjustable shock absorbers
Reiger Suspension is a leading provider of high performance shock absorbers for use under extreme conditions in motor sport. Reiger shock absorbers are used by many well known rally and rally-raid teams - the Ford and Suzuki WRC rally teams and the BMW X-Raid team to name a few. The company is headquartered just ten kilometers from were I live, making Reiger the obvious choice for developing the suspension of the Roadster S Supercharged.
The shock absorbers of the Roadster S Supercharged are based on the lightest design offered by Reiger and feature adjustable high and low speed compression settings and adjustable rebound. In addition, the front springs are height adjustable. The rear springs were custom made to match the ride height of the car. After corner weighting the car, the suspension was set up by Reiger for optimal compliance with poorly surfaced country roads. The shocks provide a dramatic improvement in damping performance over the stock Sachs shock absorbers, improving traction and ride quality while limiting body roll to a minimum.
