To match the looks of the Mov'it front brakes, the rear brake discs were replaced with Sandtler-branded drilled brake rotors. The brake calipers were painted in high gloss black and the OEM brake pads were upgraded to Ferodo DS2500 for a bit of extra bite. Upgrading to a big brake kit would have been highly expensive and wouldn't have yielded much improvement in braking performance, since 75 percent of the weight is transferred to the front under braking. Replacing the brake discs and pads and painting the calipers is a cost effective and also aesthetically pleasing measure. The brake pads have been squeal free so far, so no complaints in that department.
