BMW aero kit carbon fibre rear diffuser - Alpina Roadster S Supercharged

To add sportiness to the rear and to lower the visual stance of the car, the carbon fibre rear diffuser from the BMW aero kit was fitted alongside a custom made quad pipe exhaust. The exhaust mod and the upgrade to the facelift tail lights and rear bumper left me with the choice of the Z4M rear bumper, which already comes with cutouts for a quad exhaust, or the normal bumper with the aero kit diffuser. I loved the styling of the aero diffuser and thought it would be even better with quad exhaust tips.

An extra cutout in the right side of the diffuser was made for the quad exhaust tips. Because of the difficulty of making a perfect cutout in carbon fibre we decided to repaint the diffuser in body color. Obviously the aero kit rear diffuser is not functional as that would require a flat underbody to work properly. The price of the piece is quite high due to the use of real carbon fibre.
