Collecting the car in Germany, April 2006
These pictures were made in April 2006 when I visited a BMW Alpina dealer in Nuremberg to test drive a sterling grey Alpina Roadster S. The next week I picked up the car, which was two years old at the time with only 6000 kilometers on the odometer. On the way back home we visited Rothenburg ob der Tauber (a well-preserved medieval town) and the Nürburgring. The last four photos were shot in the Eifel region on a location near the Ring.
